The design brief was simple. The owners wanted something modern and light that screamed “Wow!” The sleek, crisp design offers exactly that and more. The contrasting black and white adds depth and definition to the area, while the reflective nature of the Perspex Alifrost doors gives a contemporary and edgy feel. This feature was an unquestionable point in design after the owners fell in love with the Black Perspex Alifrost doors when visiting an Urban Kitchens showroom. This makes an eye-catching focal point to the area, while also bordering the space well and preventing the kitchen from looking washed out.
In this space, the clear attention to detail has made all the difference in achieving a clean, sharp look. Handle-less drawers on the black cabinetry and plenty of storage solutions mean that this area has the functionality to match the unique style. Sharp lines, the overflow benchtops and flutters of stainless steel and aluminium are what many kitchen owners dream of. The kitchen is full of clever mechanisms, such as the lift-up Blum units in overhead cabinets and Blum soft-closing doors that allow modern life to become a simple pleasure. The wooden floors add a great contrasting texture that seems to ground the design. It’s no wonder the owners of this spectacular design are thrilled with the outcome.
