The inviting atmosphere and promise of treasured company draws them, in but it is the spectacular space from Sydney Kitchens that makes the informal dinner parties irresistible. Dean Walsh designed the kitchen to blend flawlessly with the new open-plan home.
As it is clearly visible from every corner of the downstairs area, it was essential the space boast clean sightlines and finishes that matched the surrounding décor. A streamlined appearance was enforced throughout the kitchen by utilising the horizontal lines of drawers and lift-up cupboards, while European styling has been combined with textured and refined materials The expansive glass windows and doors that surround the kitchen keep it cool and light in summer and warm and bright in winter. crowd pleaser Sydney Kitchens draws a crowd to complement the sleek design. Warm tones have been employed to ensure a seamless flow between the kitchen and living areas.
As the owners knew their new kitchen would prove to be a busy hub of excitement, they were keen for the space to be highly functional. This was achieved by creating calculated work zones that separate the preparation, cooking and cleaning areas to effectively control traffic around the kitchen. Maximum storage was also a top priority and was catered to by the many drawers and cupboards that make use of every spare inch of the room. Sydney Kitchens has created a space that brings people together and feels a part of the home. It’s not just a practical room but also a social one that brings the house to life.
