“My particular favourites in this design are the curved marble waterfall end, which creates such a striking focal point, and the Blum Revego pocket door appliance cabinet system, a clever solution that keeps the space clean, streamlined, and effortlessly functional,” says Tom.
A Showpiece Kitchen with Clever Functionality
At the heart of Jane’s new kitchen is a stunning curved marble benchtop, which immediately draws the eye and sets a refined tone for the space.
“Tom really listened to how we live and use our spaces. He translated all our ideas into something far more beautiful and practical than we could have imagined,” says Jane.
Tom’s design focused on blending elegance with seamless functionality. Behind Revego pocket doors, often described as the ‘disappearing doors’, sits a beautifully concealed appliance cabinet, keeping countertops clear and the kitchen uncluttered.
Adding to the premium feel are Aventos sensor touch overhead cabinets, which glide open at a gentle touch, a perfect blend of luxury and practicality.
“I love how everything is within reach yet hidden away when not in use. The clean lines give the kitchen such a calm, contemporary feel,” says Jane.
The kitchen also features a sleek Billi tap for instant boiling, chilled, and sparkling water, a touch that Jane says has been “life changing for busy mornings and entertaining.”
Integrated Style
To keep the aesthetic uninterrupted, Tom specified integrated appliances throughout the kitchen, including the fridge and dishwasher. The hero of the entertaining area is the stunning wine fridge, seamlessly built into the joinery and lit to showcase Jane’s curated collection of wines.
“The wine fridge is such a feature. It’s not only practical but looks incredible, it’s like a piece of art in the kitchen,” Jane adds.
A Laundry That’s Just as Thoughtful
The transformation extended beyond the kitchen into the laundry. Designed with the same attention to detail, the laundry combines ample storage, a smart hanging rack layouts, hidden laundry basket and clean lines that make everyday tasks easier and more pleasant.
“I never thought I’d love doing laundry, but it’s now such a well designed space that it genuinely feels effortless,” Jane laughs.
