We love the neutral colour scheme used in this kitchen
“As part of a new build through Solida Construction, we were able to manifest our design ideas without the imposition of a previous layout. The idea was to create a fresh, clean, contemporary kitchen in order to generate the kind of welcoming appeal all good kitchens should radiate, while ensuring it is highly functional. To achieve this, a light, neutral colour scheme was used in combination with long graceful lines to create a contemporary canvas which exudes a sense of elongation.
A stone upstand was worked into the benchtop to seamlessly hide the sink from the dining area, and an appliance cupboard featuring the horizontal grain used on the island’s base was built into the space. This ensures the kitchen remains uncluttered while introducing an extra element of design continuity to the space. This kitchen project succeeds in beautifully marrying contemporary design with functionality in a practical family space.”
