Kitchen With a View

This apartment’s previous kitchen was an underutilised space. The homeowner approached Premier Kitchens requesting the kitchen to be relocated to make the most of the stunning view available from the apartment.

They also wanted to create a seamless connection between cooking, dining and entertaining. Their vision included a modern aesthetic combining warm timber finishes with crisp white cabinetry, natural stone and elegant curves. The talented team at Premier Kitchens managed to tick the homeowners’ entire wish list, resulting in a beautiful kitchen that balances functionality with refined design.

The striking Mattarazzo natural stone used throughout this kitchen commands attention from the get-go. It has been expertly crafted with curved detailing to the island and cooktop run, creating a sculptural focal point within the space.

The soft curves are echoed in the overhead cabinetry, adding cohesion and interest. The integrated fridge and appliance cabinet further enhance the streamlined aesthetic, while oil-rubbed bronze handles introduce warmth and sophistication. The team was careful to selecting the ideal timber tone for this kitchen, ensuring it complemented the existing flooring as well as the contemporary palette.

Objective

To relocate the kitchen to capture sweeping harbour views and create a more connected kitchen space.

Solution

A complete redesign of the floorplan, resulting in a kitchen that makes the most of the view beyond. The space also boasts Mattarazzo stone features, warm timber finishes and plentiful storage.
