European bluestone is internationally recognised as a higher quality stone than Australian bluestone due to its similar colour and texture but with a sawn surface finish that achieves a higher non-slip level. Although it has a reasonable amount of catspaw throughout the stone, its colour is very similar to Australian bluestone without the high cost.

Customers choose bluestone with catspaw for its unique characteristics. However, once the pavers are grouted over the catspaw, the micro-holing will be visually minimal. We always recommend grouting to prevent picture framing

Harkaway Bluestone Pavers 

Harkaway bluestone screams luxury! They are considered premium because they have approximately 10-20% catspaw, and their micro-holing is minimal and small. The surface of the paver is cleaner and has a smoother look due to it being lightly honed before leaving factories.
