Drawing inspiration from the client’s affinity for green and yellow, Jo opted for a captivating patterned floor tile, artfully incorporating these vibrant hues. The walls up to the picture rail showcase two complementary subway tiles, adding a touch of timeless elegance to this exquisite bathroom design. A striking feature green tile graces the back of the shower, infusing the space with personality.

To inject a playful charm, a bold vinyl wallpaper adorns the right-hand entry wall, igniting a sense of wonder the moment you step in. The corner back-to-wall bath effortlessly blends style with comfort, thoughtfully addressing the challenge posed by the angled high
ceilings and tongue-and-groove walls.

The brushed gold tapware and accessories exude sophistication, perfectly complementing the two-pack vanity unit with Smartstone Davinci Blanco vanity top. A wall-hung custom vanity with a teardrop Clearstone basin, circular mirrored shaving cabinet and antique brass wall sconces provide the ideal finishing touches.

Despite design hurdles like limited bath height and plumbing due to window positioning and the need to remove access to the store room, Jo’s ingenuity resulted in a space that seamlessly marries functionality and beauty. Not to forget the genius touch of creating new access to the general storage area that previously relied solely on bathroom access.

In response to the brief, Jo ingeniously crafted a space-efficient L-shaped outdoor kitchen with minimal impact, ensuring it flawlessly assimilates with the surrounding environment. The open workbench, cleverly incorporated, serves not only as a practical cooking area, but also doubles as a delightful serving station for guests.

Boasting an L-shaped layout, this kitchen offers an abundance of workspace and storage options, catering to even the most demanding culinary enthusiasts. Equipped with a Condair rangehood with three motors, it provides excellent ventilation and task lighting, ensuring a comfortable and efficient cooking experience.

The chef’s dream setup comprises a generous barbecue, a convenient wok burner, and nearby utensil drawers and pull-out racks for oil and spices, facilitating seamless meal preparation and organisation.

The team at Interior Design by Jo skilfully considered essential factors such as the spotted gum timber decking and strategic sink placement, ensuring a smooth connection to the existing internal kitchen’s waste system. Additionally, the exposed gabled roof sits under gum tree branches, making it necessary to safeguard the rangehood by installing it under the eaves for added protection.

The cabinetry’s elegant Resene Evolution colour exudes sophistication, while LED downlights add a touch of ambient charm during evening gatherings.

The Euro Alfresco BBQ, wok burner and drinks fridge, chosen for their exceptional performance, elevate this outdoor kitchen to a realm of luxury and functionality, making it an enviable addition to any home. With Jo Byrom’s creative brilliance, this outdoor L-shaped kitchen stands as a testament to innovative design in luxury kitchens and bathrooms.
