The traditional design of this ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe blends in beautifully with this Californian bungalow
“This beautiful ensuite bathroom is a result of our close working relationship with the homeowners and our skilled tradesmen. The design suits the traditional Californian bungalow and the new leadlight window the homeowner had installed. We replaced the original large study with the spacious ensuite and a walk-in robe, retained the original high ceilings, and installed traditional cornices that were replicated from another room. It was important to ensure the floor and walls were square so we replaced the old timber with a new timber floor, which allowed us to install underfloor heating. Door frames were positioned to tie in with joints in the new brick work walls. Our tiler was meticulous in setting out the checkerboard floor pattern, border tiles and wall tiles. The traditional theme is enhanced by our selection of vanity, cabinets and fittings. It was a two-month process but the result makes it so worthwhile.”
