Enjoy alfresco living year-round with stylish slim-line electric radiant outdoor heaters

No matter the season, new types of heaters are enabling families to enjoy outdoor entertaining all year round. Heatstrip Classic is a stylish and unobtrusive electric radiant heater that provides an even and comfortable heat. With a distinctive slim profile and black face, the Heatstrip Classic blends elegantly into any decor. It is one of the most energy-efficient heaters available in Australia, with running costs starting from just 30 cents per hour. This compares to over $2.50 per hour for a bottled gas patio heater.

Anywhere around the home is an ideal location for the Heatstrip Classic, including undercover outdoor living and alfresco dining areas; patios, verandahs, courtyards and balconies; and hard-to-heat garages or sheds.

The Heatstrip Classic, which was recently recognised for its product excellence by the Australian Business Awards, winning the “Product Value” category, has superior corrosion protection due to its unique alloy casing, making it ideal for all locations, including coastal areas. Heatstrip Classic has no internal moving parts, which ensures silent and maintenance-free operation. An optional controller provides reassurance of automatic switch off and temperature control. The standard bracket enables easy installation to ceilings and walls, with optional flush-mount and suspension kits available.

Thermofilm Australia has also turned up the heat with the Heatstrip Max. This heater in the Heatstrip range is suitable for difficult-to-heat exposed outdoor sites and areas with high ceilings, such as pergolas and balconies, and even indoor spaces such as garages. A unique feature of the high-temperature infrared heater is Heatstrip Max’s low-glow Incoloy heating element technology.

The dual-element Heatstrip Max can be installed on ceilings up to 3.0m high. Built to commercial-grade quality, it comes with ceiling, wall, chain/wire and pole suspension mounting options and model THX2400 is supplied with a lead and plug for easy DIY installation. All heaters in the Heatstrip range are fully designed, engineered and assembled in Australia for Australian conditions. In recognition of their high manufacturing standards, the Victorian Government’s Manufacturing Hall of Fame named Thermofilm the 2014 Manufacturer of the Year.

Recommended retail prices start from $448 for the Heatstrip Classic and $698 for the Heatstrip Max 2400. All Heatstrip heaters come with a two-year full replacement warranty for residential applications. In addition to trade outlets, Heatstrip heaters are available nationally at Masters Home Improvement and Bunnings, as well as specialty outdoor living, electrical and heating stores. A full list of stores is available on the website.
