By planning to incorporate lots of space and all the necessary appliances, this kitchen is the picture of Hamptons perfection
After demolishing the old kitchen, Garsden & Clarke Kitchens & Interiors had a clean slate to work with when starting work on a new-look kitchen for owners Ellen and Roy.
“Ellen and Roy needed an open plan with an island bench,” a representative from Garsden & Clarke Interiors says. This open-plan kitchen is definitely one of the most popular kitchen styles today. Having lots of space and an island bench lends itself easily to entertaining — and in today’s economic climate, hosting is a frequent event.
In keeping with this need for more space, a wine fridge and seating were added to the island bench, creating a relaxed feel that is still modern. Further to this need for efficient use of space, an area specifically for Roy’s coffee machine was created to keep the kitchen clutter-free.
“With two sinks and the cooking and electrical appliances all in one area, this kitchen really is a result of ideal planning,” a representative from Garsden & Clarke Kitchens & Interiors says. The planning doesn’t end there; Orga-Line cutlery inserts were added to the drawers and spice
rack inserts were included to really make this a well-organised and extremely well-planned-out kitchen.
