1. French Provincial
With intricate details and often expensive materials, a provincial-style kitchen is not something to take on half-heartedly. The pay-off, however, is well worth the effort. Provincial kitchens are sophisticated, elegant and create a charming ambience throughout the home.
With such a distinct style, this design may not work in every home, and adjoining areas and decor need to match the look and feel of the room. The design, however, stirs up memories of hearty home-cooked meals and big family dinners.

2. Hamptons
Inspired by a group of villages in the towns of Southampton and East Hampton in Long Island, New York, the Hamptons style combines a light and breezy atmosphere with classy design elements and style.
Usually featuring a white or blue colour palette, Hamptons-style kitchens evoke a casual and classic feel.

3. Scandinavian
The popular Danish art of ‘‘hygge’’ (pronounced ‘‘hooga’’), roughly translating to cosiness and comfort, has taken the world by storm. This has spurred on the Scandinavian influences that have become increasingly common, not just in the kitchen but throughout the home. Modern and minimalist, Scandinavian kitchens are simple, light and bright. Functionality is key and the simplicity of the style means costs can be kept low.
Scandinavian kitchens are supposed to evoke feelings of happiness, calm and order, and work particularly well in small spaces. For a lot of people, Scandinavian style is not just a trend, but also a way of life.
