Aaron and Di completed a full-home reno in 2022 in Burleigh Waters, on the Gold Coast. “The original house was very closed in and did not make full use of the amazing canal views,” says Di.
“It was dated and ugly. We created an open-plan living set-up and added a second-storey parents’ retreat which looks out to the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. In the original house, there was a sitting room/atrium that never got used, but we still liked the idea.
We used that in our reno and now we have a beautiful garden atrium that brings the outdoors in. Our home now has a timeless coastal feel which very much suits Gold Coast living!”
