Now That’s Smart

Smart toilets elevate the everyday, transforming the bathroom — traditionally a functional space — into a haven of comfort, convenience and connectivity.

Combining clean-lined, contemporary design with an integrated approach to technology, Decina has launched a new range of smart toilets that predict, and cater for, daily routines while providing a touch of five-star luxury.

Comprised of a streamlined traditional back-to-wall suite and a sleek wall-face pan with integrated cistern, the Decina range offers complete command of all functions, from lighting to heating, via a smart seat panel or the supplied remote control.

Offering hands-free and off-seat sensor activation, which detects when the user stands up and automatically activates a function, such as flushing, Decina smart toilets not only afford increased comfort and ease of use, they also ensure enhanced hygiene.

For optimum cleanliness, the smart toilets incorporate a bidet along with built-in ultraviolet sterilisation, which automatically operates after each use. There are also multiple wash modes, including a dedicated kid’s wash and a lady wash mode.

Decina’s smart toilets also feature tornado flush technology. Tornado flush is created from an angled outlet near the top of the rim, which, when flushed, pushes water in a circular motion from the top to the bottom, cleaning along the way.

The list of features continues with a proximity sensor that detects when someone is walking towards the toilet and opens the lid automatically; an electronically heated seat with adjustable temperature settings; a built-in air dryer, also with adjustable temperature settings plus flow control; and a deodoriser.

For night-time use, there is soft, integrated LED halo bowl lighting, which auto-activates in low light. All of these functions can be operated via the seat panel or the remote.

Decina smart toilets (available in white only), also feature Japanese electronic componentry and include an integrated Air Gap for back flow protection, which doesn’t require a reduced pressure zone device unless mandated by your local jurisdiction, and they have full WELS and WaterMark certification.

Additionally, each toilet meets the ambulant height requirements of AS1428.1, which means it can be used in aged care and assisted living facilities where approved, or in homes where occupants have mobility issues.

With Decina’s new range of smart toilets, the future-forward bathroom is already here.
