In Duncraig, the objective was to expand the footprint of the kitchen to better reflect the scale of the home while elevating its aesthetic to suit a coastal setting.
The style leaned towards the traditional but allowed space for a few unique touches. Striking blue porcelain sheets sweep across the full cooking elevation, providing a bold yet calming backdrop.
At its centre is a custom-patterned shroud by Qasair Rangehoods, bringing a sense of individuality and craftsmanship. The cabinetry was finished with handles featuring subtle embossing, a detail that rewards closer inspection. Benchtops with intricate blue veining add another layer of refinement and continuity, tying back to the porcelain surfaces. The result is a kitchen that feels prestigious and robust, designed for a client who loves to cook and entertain.

By contrast, the South Perth renovation tackled the challenge of an awkwardly shaped kitchen. The brief was to soften the sterile feel and conceal the refrigerator within cabinetry. However, the rear wall’s irregular angle complicated the task. Instead of losing valuable space, Bronwyn reconfigured the layout, positioning the fridge where it could be seamlessly integrated.
The design took advantage of the newly created depth, introducing a functional cooking zone complemented by a decorative shelf. Materiality became a defining feature, with Vasari porcelain bringing warmth and luxury, set against a black bevelled substrate. This interplay created elegant curves that visually echo the overhead bulkhead, achieving a sense of balance in the unusual space. Every angle offers something intriguing, ensuring the kitchen remains both practical and visually engaging.

Together, these two projects highlight the versatility of Bronz DC. Whether working within a coastal home or a challenging city apartment, Bronwyn’s design language is defined by thoughtful material choices, attention to fine details, and a commitment to enhancing the way her clients live in their kitchens.
