“This luxurious kitchen is part of a redesign the homeowners had wanted for quite a while. The home’s original separate kitchen and bathroom spaces were very small and were not working for the homeowners, so they decided to embark on a renovation.
They requested a modern, kid-friendly kitchen with matt black aspects and a practical butler’s pantry. The biggest challenge involved the layout and spatial restrictions — the previous kitchen and laundry spaces were two separate rooms with structural walls and different floor levels. Several walls were removed to combine the spaces, and the homeowners opted to remove the old flooring and replace it with polished concrete for a contemporary feel. The luxurious kitchen was designed to blend in with the living/dining area, with integrated appliances to ensure the space looked neat and modern at all times. The Wilsonart Traceless laminate in Super Matt Black used throughout the space was exactly what the homeowners had hoped for, contrasting beautifully with the custom-plated 22k rose gold handles. Though the space is quite dark in nature, clever lighting options ensure it is well lit at all times.”
