The homeowners wanted to give their young family a contemporary, functional kitchen, incorporating a butler’s pantry, for a flexible and practical space for many years to come
With this in mind, the kitchen was designed to be versatile, bright and airy. Branch-like veined marble reaches for the ceiling, where sunlight spills into the space through a custom-designed Corian skylight. This is contrasted with thick blackbutt timber beams, which add dimension to the space. A Neolith Beton servery top floats effortlessly atop the Corian Glacier White benchtops. These encase the veneer and painted push-to-open drawers and panels, which provide much-needed storage. Light bounces off and is dispersed among the cabinets painted Dulux Whitsunday Island, while linear elements are coupled with V-groove detailing and cabinet splits, for a touch of elegance.
“The homeowners absolutely love their new kitchen and I don’t think I could have hoped for a better result” – Designer: Marija Novosel for Jag Kitchens
