If you want something done right, perhaps you should do it yourself
This was certainly the case for the
owner of this kitchen. In need of a
space with lots of work surfaces
and plenty of storage solutions,
the owner decided to custom-make her own
kitchen with Formica® Kit Solutions packages
to guarantee it turned out exactly the way
she envisaged.
The owner selected materials, including Formica® vinyl gloss doors in Snowdrift and benchtops in Formica® Blackstone laminate, from Brumby’s Home Timber & Hardware, and set about incorporating them into a stylish, workable design. To ensure the space was used to its fullest potential, all the main appliances were positioned in a triangular shape so the essential cooking tools were located within easy reach of each other. A handy appliance cupboard was installed next to the refrigerator to conceal the toaster, kettle and microwave, and a collection of condiments, and keep the gorgeous Blackstone laminate benchtops free of unnecessary clutter.
The dramatic black-and-white colour scheme is illuminated by an abundance of natural light, which enhances the roomy dimensions and highlights the kitchen’s quality materials. From classic neutrals to more contemporary looks, Formica® Kit Solutions has a design to suit anyone’s taste and budget. And the company’s cam lock system means, with a simple twist of a screwdriver, the components quickly and securely lock together.
