Recently I was invited to a preview of the latest IKEA range. The setting for the launch was Rose Seidler House in Sydney and wow…was I impressed! I have never really been a fan of IKEA but their new Stockholm range has completely redefined the IKEA look. Created to bring the world of design and premium quality to ‘the many’, this new range features premium materials such as leather, linen, pure wool, mouth-blown glass, velvet, silk, cowhide and solid oak. Inspired by mid-20th century design and created by 12 designers hand-picked by IKEA, the Stockholm collection offers designer style at a price everyone can afford. I have purchased a few pices myself and plan on adding to my collection – space at home permitting!
