When I’m buying an oven, how do I measure useable space within the oven cavity? Is it by volume or some other method and how does this relate to the size of the overall unit?

Sophie Barton, Kleenmaid Product Manager, says: “The net volume is the best way to measure oven capacity (measured in litres). The gross volume refers to the overall volume of the oven. For example, a 600mm-wide oven may have a 56-litre gross capacity but a net useable capacity of 53 litres. Kleenmaid has a range of European designed and made built-in and freestanding ovens with the best in features and aesthetics. The best you can own, the Kleenmaid comes with Kleenmaid’s signature five-year parts and labour warranty.”
