Resort-style: luxury kitchen

Natural sunlight, pendant lighting and downlights opens up and brightens this modern kitchen

“This was a brand-new build, so there was no excuse for anything but a gorgeous modern design. The generously sized room, perfectly integrated with the outdoor area, created both a beautiful canvas and a challenge — as so much was at stake, it was so important to create a luxurious space that flowed seamlessly.

A long, white benchtop lengthens the room, and the overwhelming feeling of space and light ties in perfectly with the hotel-like outdoor dining and pool area. A combination of downlights and hanging pendant lamps, combined with wall-length glass doors and a mirrored splashback, complete the resort-style feel and ensure a light, bright space.

The owners wanted a minimalist look, which we created with floating cabinetry, handle-free cabinets and lots of drawers for storage. A perfectly concealed glossy panel opens out to a generous butler’s pantry, which adds more than adequate storage and an extra work bench, so the main area can remain pristine.”

Monochrome Marvel

Black and white is anything but boring in this space. The clever monochromatic colour scheme is warmed via wooden parquetry flooring that results in a space that looks stunning.
