A luxury villa in Dubai is the epitome of contemporary cool

The gated community of Emirates Hills is home to Dubai’s elite. Named after its equally luxe LA counterpart Beverly Hills, the exclusive neighbourhood is filled with contemporary homes that accept nothing but the best. Created by boutique firm Nikki B Signature Interiors, this villa showcases the pinnacle of modern design with a Middle Eastern twist.

A spacious 1391m² area comprising five bedrooms is on offer, providing interior designer Nikki Bisiker with a blank canvas on which to enact her vision. This villa is filled with contrasting colour palettes, materials, textures

Each of the bedrooms has a signature palette that marks its uniqueness
and patterns that all come together, ultimately creating a harmonious residence while giving each room a distinct personality.

The dining room is full of luxury accents and materials. Revolving around a yellow–gold palette, hues of navy blue in the dining chairs break up the room and add an earthy element. A Brabbu 12-seater Koi dining table II is the standout piece in the space, with its gold fish scale base upping the luxe factor. Also present is the brass Horus ceiling light. “Horus is a light that’s an atmosphere creator, unifying all the elements,” says Tiago Gonçalves from Brabbu press relations. “Handmade in brass, the structure is also copper-plated and matt-black lacquered.”

Each of the bedrooms has a signature style that marks its uniqueness. One offers a grey metallic scheme mixed with accents of lime green in the side tables and cushions. Another features a moody blue aesthetic that contrasts against dark timber floorboards and white cabinetry. Upping the style stakes, an additional room boasts a marble feature wall with LED lights illuminating the stone. Taking influence from the second bedroom, blue is introduced through the artwork and the furnishings. Another space offers a switch in mood, moving from a rich aesthetic to a lighter palette surrounding pink, turquoise, yellow and sea green, and a separate bedroom continues the focus on impact colours, with purple, burgundy and teal serving as inspiration.

A chequered black and white floor in the kitchen introduces an element of tradition to the home and complements the white and gold palette. “The kitchen has a special ambience,” says Tiago. “Its decor is peaceful, charming and inviting.” Brabbu’s Agra marble dining table is the key furnishing in this space and serves its purpose to perfection, offering a spot for the family to gather and enjoy a casual meal while still contributing to the high-end feel of the home.

The numerous rooms throughout this home offer plenty of space for each family member to kick back and unwind or enjoy some peace and quiet. Conveniently located right next to each other, a split living space features two moods — one is light and airy with hues of blue against bright white, and the other more punchy, featuring a copper-inspired feature wall with metallic fish sculptures making their way across the room.

This high-end residence meets the criteria for a design-loving family who appreciate colour and excitement in their home. Full of vibrant hues with an underlying theme of luxury, this Emirates Hills creation sets the benchmark for residential design.
