We are very excited to see United Interiors’ artworks featured in this brand new home; a breathtaking newly completed project by none other than our favourite Design Duo: Alisa & Lysandra.
Our long term art collaborators have truly outdone themselves with this renovation and total re-design of a 1890 Victoria Terrace in Albert Park. From their visits to our showroom, we have heard stories and tidbits from their 2 year long project, but when we saw this home in the flesh, we were totally floored (c’mon, cellar in the basement, a theatre room, a hotel-esque master bathroom AND a plunge pool?! More on that later…).
Starting with the entrance and hallway…
“This is a space that can often be forgotten about, but it really shouldn’t be as it’s the very first impression someone has of your home. We think this stunning hand painted artwork from United Interiors is the perfect addition to create a lasting first impression.” – Alisa
We collaborated closely with Alisa and Lysandra to custom-make these ‘perfect pairs’ for their entrance in a beautifully soft and complimentary colour palette.
The sheer size of these hand paintings gives you an instant grand impression the minute you step into the home, evoking an ‘art gallery in your own home’ vibe we all love.
When you turn the corner you are met with the gorgeous staircase that leads you to the upper floor and the basement.
Nothing gets you in the mood for a drop of red than admiring this berry-toned abstract piece as you descent downstairs downstairs into the wine cellar. Take care when you make your way back up from an evening of entertaining though!

As you make your way upstairs you are greeted by this subtle and understated abstract in the 2nd living room. The large scale piece makes a quiet impact in this otherwise minimalist chill out zone. When your artwork is a statement size, you don’t really need much else in the way of decor!

The stunning 3 level property is sophisticated and high-end, with a considered approach to art selection around the home. The same level of attention to detail was carried through to art for the bedrooms.
“Choosing the perfect piece of art goes way beyond the colour palette for us. It has to evoke a feeling.” – Alisa
“We love this stunning bird print (The Bird Watch) that we selected for the 2nd bedroom as it really speaks to the nature inspired palette and textures we have used consistently throughout the home.” – Lysandra
We couldn’t resist sharing our non-art related highlights, so here are the stunning spaces in the home we mentioned earlier:
Well done to our favourite Design Duo for creating such a feast for the eyes. This house certainly works hard, and plays harder too. #DreamHome
If you haven’t already, watch their 6 part series, and see how they turned this property from “drab, to fab!” (to borrow a term used way too often!)
