Interspec collaborated with @sallyhart_design to complete this stunning bespoke Pooja unit. In Indian culture, a pooja room is a dedicated space within a home for worship and prayer.
“Pooja” (or “puja”) refers to the act of worshipping or performing religious rituals. The pooja room is considered a sacred space where individuals or families can perform daily rituals, meditate, and seek spiritual solace.
We incorporated bifold pocket doors within the design to allow for easy open and closing of the unit. We worked closely with the client to incorporate their artwork from India and fit those elements within our cabinetry construction.
