Classic style meets groovy patterns for the ultimate upgrade, thanks to the team at Fresh Kitchen Solutions.
Although the space had been standing strong with solid timber for 30 years, it was time to breathe new life into it.
The brief for this project, part of a facelift that included the laundry and bathroom, was to make the kitchen accessible and convenient. The solution? To incorporate drawers as much as possible in order to reduce mess and keep everything neatly organised.
From the six drawers under the cooktop to deep drawers under the coffee station for other appliances plus sink drawers to house any cleaning products, this renovation truly utilised the space to make every corner count. And those examples are just scraping the surface. Indeed, the clients are truly spoiled for choice when it comes to storage.
But, it’s also the little things that make this kitchen shine. Old America handles are consistent over all three areas, while white grip handles were added on the peninsula to prevent the doors from constantly opening if guests leaned on it. The pantry even has downlights that automatically turn on when opened, ideal for those late-night cravings and snacks.
As for the design, the homeowners wanted the area to match their unique vibrant tastes —
in fact, the last thing they wanted was a modern shiny white kitchen. The team at Fresh Kitchen Solutions executed their request by creating cabinets featuring a subtle V-groove profile, accompanied with coloured pattern tiles for a pop of retro style.
The end result is a beautiful combination of function and form, with accessibility at the heart of its new design. It’s the perfect space for families and homeowners who like to keep clutter at bay.
