This white and timber kitchen design creates a refreshing look and feel.
“A unique blend of visual, textural and practical design comes together to form this bright and enjoyable kitchen. Working with interior designer, Anita Mitchell, I took inspiration from the spectacular view and made it a key feature of the design. We used a variety of finishes and textures to add visual interest to the space and work with the natural light. The vivid white cabinetry is in direct contrast to the timber veneer on the back wall, which perfectly balances the white marble benchtop. A mirror splashback and kickboards were chosen to add depth. The kitchen also needed to incorporate multiple practical features, such as a butler’s pantry and a table for meals, as the owners have no formal dining area. For this, we custom designed a marble island benchtop with an integrated timber table for easy, relaxed dining.”
