Bar and kitchen duo

Gallery

This bar and second kitchen by Enigma Interiors is both vibrant and elegant — and an interesting design idea

“The homeowner wanted a bar to also function as a convenient second kitchen. This self-sufficient bar with oven and sink has enough bench space and storage to serve the billiard room, which flows to a larger entertaining area and the outdoor entertaining space.

The Steel Grey brushed-finish granite bench and Polytec Createc Café Cream gloss cabinets accentuate the bar’s sleek modern design. A floating timber shelf with recessed lighting is set at window height and ties in all the elements of the bar. It caps off a series of custom-designed solid-timber vertical wine racks and also gave us the opportunity to display memorabilia collected during the owners’ many travels.

The large mirror splashback and back-lit stepped marble shelves are a focal point of the design, while on the adjacent wall, three illuminated display boxes are a feature of the wine display. A timber counter with waterfall end completes the design.”
