This personalised design service will ensure your dream kitchen is created

Kitchens are the heart of every home and creating your dream kitchen is one of the most exciting and fulfilling journeys a homeowner will take. It can also be overwhelming with a seemingly endless range of design styles, finishes, accessories and appliances to choose from.  Freedom Kitchens understand this, which is why theyprovide a personalised design service to make this experience enjoyable and easy from beginning to end, saving you time and money.

Freedom Kitchens offers a free in-home design consultation. This service is available to each and every customer which means that you can design your new kitchen in the current space, view samples and discuss layout options in the comfort of your own home.

“During an in-home design appointment I will measure the kitchen space and provide a detailed plan and my clients can see their kitchen come to life,” explains Freedom Kitchen designer Susan Simmons. “Every client has different needs, styles and budgets that they want to achieve in their kitchen space and it’s a pleasure to work with them to see their vision become a reality”.

Susan continues, “I really enjoy being able to suggest creative design solutions to maximise space or save money that people may not have even considered. For example, selecting the right storage solutions can completely change the way you use your new kitchen. We have an extensive range of storage solutions from pull out pantries, corner carousels to drawers with variable dividers for cutlery, knives and spices; meaning that you will have a kitchen space that is both stylish and functional.”

With so many benchtop and cabinetry finishes to choose from, it can be seemingly impossible to select the right option for your kitchen. “This is when understanding your needs, style and budget really assists the design process”, explains Susan. “If you like an industrial style then matt black cabinetry is perfect paired with concrete-look Caesarstone benchtops. Prefer the Hamptons look? We can explore white tones and detailed door panels. And don’t forget laminate options which provide an economical way of bringing in natural stone looks or realistic and hard wearing timber top finishes and can be combined with Caesarstone tops for a more luxe look”.

“Finally, sometimes it’s the small details that make all the difference”, says Susan. “For example handles can provide the finishing touch to your kitchen and can be integral to achieving your desired kitchen style. We recently expanded our range of handles so clients can choose from handle-less, knobs to bars and finger pulls; and in a variety of materials like stainless steel, timber, copper, bronze and nickel. Really, the options are endless”!
