Tired of the home’s 25-year-old U-shaped kitchen, the homeowners contacted Nouvelle Designer Kitchens & Bathrooms, who had renovated the kitchen in their previous home, for a much-needed update.
They were usure what their new kitchen needed to look like and wanted the designers to provide ideas around possible design concepts, meaning the team at Nouvelle Kitchens had a blank canvas on which to work their magic.
The team realised the existing kitchen location did not flow well with the rest of the house, so suggested relocating it, which the homeowners were very happy to do. Ultimately, the kitchen was moved to the original living area to allow it to flow to the outdoor entertaining space. The laundry was then relocated to the original kitchen to create a combined laundry and butler’s pantry for added functionality.
Nouvelle Designer Kitchens & Bathrooms’ ability to not only design, but also execute the necessary building work was a great advantage in ensuring the best process and result for the homeowners. As you can see here, the outcome is spectacular. The main kitchen’s white cabinetry and herringbone timber flooring keep the space fresh and contemporary, while the splashback and island base create beautiful contrast. Plenty of functionality was integrated in the form of display cabinetry, lift-up Blum AVENTOS doors, bifold appliance cabinetry with its own stone bench, and seating around the main benchtop for casual meals.
The kitchen flows seamlessly to the alfresco area, complete with a fireplace, dining table, an outdoor cooking station and plenty of storage space.
The Nouvelle Designer Kitchens & Bathrooms team truly went above and beyond for this project, resulting in numerous new multi-functional spaces that ooze aesthetic appeal.
