‘How much should a kitchen renovation cost?’ PART 5
KITCHEN COST: $40,000-$50,000
The black-and-white theme in this new kitchen gives a sleek look and combines with the LED lighting to give this kitchen an up-to-the-minute aesthetic. On the rear wall, the hard, horizontal lines stand out thanks to the symmetrically oriented drawers, aluminium overheads and upright commercial-style stove.
The adjoining tall wall introduces a vertical aesthetic to the design, offering a generous pantry with bi-fold doors, a wide refrigerator, wine fridge, microwave and appliance cupboard.
The island bench features more strong horizontal lines and includes a sink, dishwasher and bin. There’s also a roomy breakfast seating area complete with a black, gloss back panel and an under-mounted LED strip light. The cosmic-black brushed-granite bench feature adds loads of appeal and a hint of asymmetry to this otherwise perfectly balanced space. Design / Jason Levin of Dean Kitchens. deankitchens.com.au
