The main requirement was a kitchen design that would accommodate friends and overseas visitors, as the family values cooking and socialising and wanted that to be effortless in this kitchen.
The custom Wood Marble & White cabinetry provides an elegant aesthetic with a touch of traditional style. Bespoke trim on the door panels adds a textural interest that makes this kitchen a standout. Glass-fronted display cabinets, featuring black internals that enhance the sense of depth, turn storage into a showcase.
The design is characterised by a large, above-average-length kitchen island that incorporates generous storage and stunning feature lighting. The island makes a bold focal statement while providing additional functionality for the family. The sweeping counter space acts as an ideal area for meal prep, casual dining or socialising.
Ample seating around the island can comfortably accommodate many people. Ensuring the space does not feel cold and austere, accent lighting offers warm tones with glowing globes. This contrasts with the contemporary design of the lighting fixture itself, introducing a modern yet cosy touch to this inviting space.
With a colour palette of black against white, the grain in the stone tiles and Super White Dolomite benchtop and splashback contrast perfectly with the two-pack paint. Touches of brushed brass and gold in the hardware add a sophisticated feel and bring the design together.
The brushed gold Zip Celsius All-in-One HydroTap is luxurious in both form and function, with the ability to produce boiling, chilled and sparkling water. Other high-end appliances include a Gaggenau combi-microwave/oven with warming drawer and an integrated Liebherr fridge/freezer.
The updated kitchen is now an aesthetically appealing and family-friendly space that opens up the room to the beautiful water outlook.
