Bob Biernat is the owner and managing director of Freedom Pools, one of Australia’s most successful fibreglass pool manufactures, established in Western Australia. Freedom has offices and agents Australia wide. Bob’s expertise in the pool industry originated in Britain in the early 1970s, where as a mechanic he started working with fibreglass. After his return to Western Australia in 1973, Bob set up Narrogin fibreglass and supplied rain water tanks, water carting tanks, fire fighting tanks and swimming pools.
Bob spotted an advertisement for a 7.5m x 3.6m pool mould, which he promptly bought and used to launch Freedom Pools. Since then, Freedom has made and sold over 100,000 fibreglass pools Australia wide. The original manufacturing facility is located in Kenwick, Western Australia and over the years additional manufacturing facilities were established in Queensland and South Australia.
Western Australia boasts three display centres (Kenwick, Joondalup and O’Connor), plus four regional agents. South Australia’s display centre can be found at Plympton Park. Queensland’s display centre is based in Springwood, with an additional nine Queensland agents to choose from. Freedom Pools also has 10 NSW agents all selling this quality brand.
Freedom Pools & Spas has also recently developed and launched their new Pool Armour Protection Technology – the combination of three elements – marble Tech, Trans Tech and Flo Tech. When these three technologies are combined, you get the very best quality pool available with lifetime structural and surface warranties. Pool Armour is exclusively available only from Freedom Pools.
All of their pools are manufactured to the highest level Australian Standards AS/NZS 1838-1944 which allows them to provide a Lifetime Structural Warranty. All Freedom Pools are manufactured using superior grade eco-friendly fibreglass and gelcoats, and finished with fade resistant Marble Tech. Included in the gelcoat finish of every swimming pool they produce is Aquaguard, a revolutionary microbial inhibitor.
Freedom’s construction methods is also approved by Llyod’s of London for the construction of boats and fibreglass swimming pools. This means that all Freedom pools are manufactured under the strictest quality controls. Plus their pools are built to sustain our harsh Australian climate conditions.
