The Fusion of Two Apartments into a Stunning Entertainer’s Kitchen | Premier Kitchens

The owners of this sculpted kitchen knocked together two apartments to create a spacious abode.

As part of the renovation, they wanted a kitchen that was perfect for entertaining. It also needed to take in the majestic views beyond.

The curved island pays homage to the arched Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, while the selected colours reflect those of the harbour. The kitchen has clean lines with white marble benchtops, the dark accents in the splashback offering contrast.

Given that it was originally two apartments, utility housing had to be catered for. The electrical stacks that came down through the centre of the island have been covered in curved forms to complement the visual tone of the space.

Shelving at the ends of the island offers a place to display treasured items, and bench seating at the island provides more space for guests.
