Aspiring for a simple, contemporary-yet-traditional french kitchen, UK Kitchens achieved everything the clients wanted and more.
“The clients wanted the kitchen to reflect the traditional style of the home yet with a simpler, more contemporary feel rather than an overly ornate style. It has elements of both French Provincial, such as the glass cabinets, and the Federation style of the cabinet profile and pillars. The custom-made kickboards, mouldings and canopy are other details integral to this traditional, yet timeless look. The colour scheme was kept neutral so the luxurious granite benchtops and marble floor would stand out. There’s great flow in the kitchen and plenty of storage as well as a full butler’s pantry, complete with another stove, fridge, dishwasher and more benchtop space for food preparation, leaving the island free for entertaining. The owners love their coffee so we included a separate side benchtop area to house their commercial-sized coffee machine. Everything has its place in this kitchen.”
