Set quietly within its coastal context, this is a project where luxury is expressed through clarity rather than excess. Clean architectural lines, framed outlooks and carefully curated materials create an environment that feels composed and grounded, allowing light, water and landscape to become the defining elements of daily life.
The home’s design philosophy centres on calm minimalism. Soft-plastered walls, warm timbers and sculptural stone surfaces are layered with purpose, never competing for attention. Instead, each material enhances the next, forming a cohesive backdrop that shifts gently throughout the day as sunlight and shadow move across the spaces. This quiet approach to luxury sets the tone for the outdoor areas, where the swimming pool becomes both a visual anchor and a place of retreat.
Delivered by Norfolk Pools, the custom-designed pool sits in perfect dialogue with the architecture. Its form is elegant and assured, echoing the home’s curves and clean edges while maintaining a strong sense of balance. Finished with meticulous detail including a 4m curved acrylic pool window, the pool reflects the sky above and the surrounding landscape, changing character from crisp and refreshing by day to serene and atmospheric as evening falls.
Rather than dominating the setting, the pool has been designed to feel embedded within it. Edges align seamlessly with surrounding surfaces, while the soft tonal palette reinforces the home’s coastal sensibility. From within the residence, the pool reads as an extension of the living spaces — a shimmering plane of water that enhances outlooks and draws the eye outward.
On the opposite side of the property, two fully tiled plunge pools form part of the wellness retreat in a secluded corner, aligning perfectly with the sauna window inside the house. Both the spa and the cold plunge, which drops to 8°, form a quiet sanctuary away from the main living space of the house and connect peacefully to the warmth of the sauna and private gym.
