Set within a leafy acreage property, this thoughtfully designed concrete lap pool forms the heart of a whole-of-site renovation that balances family fun with refined outdoor living. From the first sketch to the final planting, every element has been carefully considered to create a space that grows and evolves alongside the family which calls it home.
The pool itself is a striking yet understated centrepiece. It is fully tiled in Sukabumi (Bali) stone, the water taking on a deep, natural tone that reflects the surrounding landscape. Polished concrete coping provides a crisp architectural edge, while retained rock features anchor the pool seamlessly into its environment, giving the project an organic sense of permanence rather than a newly imposed structure.
Designed with versatility in mind, the pool integrates a wet deck with playful fountains, a dedicated children’s slide, and a walk-out shallow zone ideal for younger family members. An integrated spa connects visually and socially with the wider pool area, allowing adults to relax while remaining part of the action. In-floor cleaning, automatic chemical dosing and Wi-Fi automation ensure the pool is as easy to maintain as it is enjoyable to use.
Beyond the water’s edge, AEON Pools delivered a comprehensive landscape solution across the entire property. Sandstone feature walls add warmth and texture, while new garden plantings soften built forms and enhance privacy. A firepit area extends the usability of the outdoor space into cooler evenings, complemented by layered garden lighting and a fully integrated irrigation system that keeps the landscape thriving year-round.
For the homeowners, collaboration and thoughtful guidance were key. Retaining existing rock features, designing for children of different ages, and navigating council requirements were all integral to the success of the project. The result is an outdoor environment that feels both expansive and intimate — a place where each family member connects with the space in their own way.
