Replacing a tired, old, 90’s bathrooms, this stunning design has all of the design elements that create a luxurious feel.
“This elegant bathroom was created to replace a tired, dull and old room, which featured a dated 1990s brown vanity unit. After renovating the rest of the home, an original 1930s Queenslander with stunning high ceilings, VJ boards and polished timber floors, the owners wanted an equally impressive bathroom to complete the look. It was renovated alongside the ensuite — a practical move as the rooms share a wall — and both feature the same fixtures and fittings. Inspiration was the popular Art Deco era of the 1920s, but with more modern touches such as the angular sink and deep, stand-alone white acrylic bath. A key design element was the decision to create marble-style walls using rectified ceramic tiles. The vanity unit is a far cry from its predecessor and features blue LED lighting for an ultra-modern design feature. The antique-style mirror and pretty lamp add the finishing touches to a dream bathroom.”
