Luxury bathroom: Million-dollar baby

With a sophisticated colour scheme, quality materials and a feature chandelier, this bathroom is the epitome of luxury

“The epitome of modern grandeur, this ensuite evokes the feeling of five-star luxury every day. Located in a private wing of the house along with the master bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and shower room, it is an indulgent retreat from the rest of the home. Its success is due to a high level of research and an incredible eye for detail. The owner knew exactly what she wanted and involved three experts in their fields — Elite Bathware & Tiles, Designer Kitchens and an interior decorator — to make her dream a reality.

The result is a space that combines absolute luxury with functionality in perfect proportions. Elegant Italian tiles set the tone throughout, while decorative ceramic wall tiles create a charming feature in the bathing area. The marble vanity top, sophisticated tapware and accessories are timeless. Far from being an afterthought, the lighting pulls the design together and is as practical as it is beautiful. Wall pendants are situated at either side of the mirror, rather than above, to create the perfect light for applying makeup. A large chandelier was chosen for the overhead light to add a final touch of glamour.”
