Taking outdoor living to the next level is Caesarstone’s new quartz surface, opening up a raft of design opportunities for seamlessly extending interior design to the great outdoors.
Newly announced Australian Residential Design Landscaper of the Year, Adam Robinson, uses Caesarstone Outdoor extensively in his exterior kitchen and entertaining areas. Apart from its UV-resistance and exceptional durability, he finds the muted, neutral colours available work well with other outdoor elements such as foliage, timber, stone and steel.
Caesarstone Outdoor relies on a newly developed resin to create a quartz surface with an unprecedented level of resistance to harsh weather conditions, enabling homeowners to seamlessly link indoor kitchens to alfresco kitchens, bbq areas and poolside bars.
The initial release of three colours ensures most architectural styles and colour palettes are well served. Palm Shade is a classic look of white marble; Clearskies a beautifully soft Beton grey and Midday emulates the tinted white of a concrete base.
As with all other Caesarstone surfaces, Outdoor requires no sealing and is highly durable, being non-porous, stain resistant and scratch resistant. In addition, Caesarstone Outdoor is UV resistant so will not fade. Another plus is ease of maintenance – simply clean with soap and water. Independent testing has revealed this new surface outperforms the more traditional outdoor materials such as granite, ceramic, concrete and stainless steel in terms of performance and resistance to weathering.
Caesarstone Outdoor is available in 20mm thickness and retails from $650/m2 (which includes fabrication and installation).
Caesarstone is committed to the highest safety and environmental standards and carries the ISO 14001 international standard for environmental management and performance.
