Pool renovation: Modern timber pool area

This pool and backyard have been revitalised with a renovation turning it into a modern timber pool area

These homeowners initially had an old, tired pool that was far too large for their property. As they desired more space for outdoor entertaining, they gave Goodmanors Pools + Gardens the job of modernising and downsizing the existing pool with minimal excavation; as well as designing the rear garden, alfresco and barbecue area. Goodmanors revamped the space completely to make it a child-friendly, attractive outdoor feature that offers ample room for entertaining guests.

The pool is a classic rectangle shape and uses Bizassa glass mosaic tiles in various shades of grey and white on the interior. The design beautifully complements the house and the deck. The timber deck curves up from the pool and seamlessly becomes part of the boundary wall, thus also functioning as a visual feature. Planters positioned at the edge of the pool give the area an organic, calm feel and add some much needed green to the space.

Goodmanors is a design and construction business that has been operating for more than 25 years. They are a member of the LNA, AILDM, HIA and SPASA and have received multiple industry awards during this time. Visit the Goodmanors website to see the diversity and quality of their work.
