Having dared to be unique, the owners of these stunning water features share their experiences
A water feature can be used to provide a focal point in a garden, subtly enhance the overall ambience of an outdoor space, or introduce a sense of drama. Of course, choosing the right feature is essential. Here, happy Sydney property owners talk about how S’Wonderful ceramic pot water features have transformed their gardens and businesses, and how easy they found the selection and installation processes.
Kris and David, owners of the water feature pictured above, have homes in Darling Point and Noosa, Queensland. “We’ve had the pleasure of working with Angeline Goh at S’Wonderful on water features for two of our homes,” they say. “We were originally attracted to the array of products in the shop and loved all of the colours, shapes and sizes. After chatting with Angeline we knew we had to have one of her amazing water features in our Sydney home. She was extremely helpful and informative, going out of her way to ensure installation went smoothly, and she has been most supportive with all our maintenance requirements and answering any questions after the fact. We loved the S’Wonderful water feature in our Sydney home, so much so that we bought another for our new home on the Sunshine Coast.”
Commenting on the water feature shown above, Grant and Janet of Leichhardt, say: “From the time we stepped into the shop, Angeline at S’Wonderful was nothing but a pleasure to deal with. Her insights into what type of water feature would suit our backyard renovation and her suggestions about final placement to maximise its appearance were a great help. When it came time for the water feature to be installed, the S’Wonderful team provided our landscapers with all the support they needed to ensure everything went smoothly. Our fantastic water feature continues to draw admiring comments from visitors. We highly recommend S’Wonderful.”
The water feature, shown at the top of this page, graces a garden, also in Leichhardt. Co-homeowner Terry says: “Andrew and I have busy work days so to come home and relax to the bubbling sound of cascading water is such a tonic. The staff at S’Wonderful listen, and I mean listen to what you’re asking. They suggest ideas and Photoshop the water feature into a photo of your garden. Seeing the water feature in your location takes away the guesswork. Before the water feature was installed we stood in the kitchen to chat with friends on a sunny day. Now we chat in the courtyard and enjoy the resort feeling created by the water feature. Sheer bliss!”
“We wanted something different and unique for the water feature and centrepiece of our pool so I knew the only place to go was S’Wonderful,” says Gina of Claremont Meadows, owner of the water feature shown above. “Angeline and her team create some of the most wonderful and colourful water features that I have ever seen. We love our pool water feature so much that we got a second one for the front garden. I marvel at our pool daily as I look out the window and I know that I have something truly ‘S’Wonderful’.”
Frances Keevil, director of the Frances Keevil Gallery in Double Bay, is the happy owner of the water feature, pictured above. “Ten years ago I purchased some magnificent pots from S’Wonderful, which they made into water features, and it was a very enjoyable experience. Subsequent dealings for pot and pump maintenance have been efficient and professional. You always get service with a smile and I cannot recommend them highly enough,” she says. To find out more, give Angeline Goh at S’Wonderful a call, Tuesday through Saturday. odl
