Superior design and quality finishes have turned a once drab area into a modern and stylish kitchen
The team at Art of Kitchens has done a spectacular job transforming the former cramped, U-shaped kitchen into this elegant space.
First on the agenda was the relocation of the kitchen to a more appealing part of the house. The old kitchen didn’t leave much room for entertaining, whereas this new space opens up onto a lovely alfresco area.
Looking out the French doors to a spectacular pool makes the cooking experience for the owners all that more enjoyable. Perhaps the most unique element of the design is the striking mix of finishes. The stunning chocolate-and-white-striped glass splashback is a feature of the workspace, while the gorgeous Liben Beige marble benchtop provides further visual interest.
The space’s neutrally toned colour scheme was chosen to blend with the stunning island bench. In keeping with the soft palette, all-white polyurethane cabinetry was installed both above and below the cooking area and lightly coloured timber was used on the floors to match the door frame.
An extensive range of quality stainless-steel appliances has also been cleverly incorporated into the relatively small space. Art of Kitchens designer Liam Murphy maximised storage through the use of thoughtfully placed cupboards featuring Aventos lift-up doors for easy access and a number of deep pantry drawers.
Now an elegant, spacious room with loads of pizzazz, this kitchen is as unique as they come.
