Crisp and clean: kitchen design

Recycled timber is not just a for a great building but adds unique personality to a kitchen design

“Crisp lines and delicious textures blend perfectly in this seamless, modern kitchen. The striking LithoStone benchtops in Calacatta Gold stand out against a palette of gloss-grey subway tiles, while recycled timber from the famous St Kilda pier adds subtle texture and personality.

The owners wanted a completely unobtrusive design with an innovative solution for the pantry. To achieve this desired simplicity, a combination of mechanical SERVO-DRIVE and push-release doors were chosen, together with sleek, semi-integrated appliances.

The handle-less style means the eye is immediately drawn to the exquisite combination of old and new, smooth and textured. The result is a generous, light, open-plan kitchen that embraces a busy, social lifestyle and accentuates the beautiful architectural home.”
