The restoration of this classic kitchen design beautifully complements this 19th century home, restoring it to its former grandeur.
“This new kitchen is the perfect complement to a beautiful 19th century home. Committed to restoring the home to its former grandeur, the renovation included a complete restoration after being divided into four apartments. The key was to design a kitchen that complemented the room and original features, and give a feeling of space and comfort for the new owners. A classic, antique, hand-painted door profile, along with a hand-crafted mantel and chimney façade, helped us achieve this. The solid recycled timber slabs are among the most beautiful we have ever seen. The Lacanche freestanding oven beneath the custom-designed chimney adds its own rustic feel, alongside the timber benchtops.”
