This delightfully quirky kitchen utilities open and closed storage for maximum space
“It’s spring every day in this quirky, retro kitchen with its bright Kermit-green-and-white colour scheme. Picking up on the original ‘50s Art Deco style and amplifying it, we have created a new classical style with the kitchen’s sensuously curved features and overhead details.
A new open-plan kitchen was designed, blending an extension with the existing kitchen, to create a more relaxed place to entertain friends and the clients’ very large extended family.
Open storage displays retro canisters and useful decorative items, while all the mod cons, including twin pull-out recycling bins, are cleverly concealed. Ample space is provided through the island side of the kitchen bench, which has a hide-away access door for additional storage. Old and new are blended seamlessly for a kitchen that is bold, bright and family friendly.”
