A large scale modular building project, this home project in Caves Beach, Lake Macquarie involved the repeated production of a coastal two-bedroom home as part of an ocean-front development
The development, an architectural design constructed by Broadworth Modular, consisted of gable forms created from composite timber and rough sawn cedar cladding that will change in the coastal conditions to a light silver. Although unassuming in its gable form design, the home’s compact size and well-designed floorplan mean that this build is the perfect weekender for simple, comfortable living with brilliant ocean views.
Repeating the plan allowed the build to progress on a large scale with a quick construction and hassle-free development process.
