Industrial Luxe: a modern home

Gallery

Featuring plenty of storage space, this home is unique for a number of reasons — chief among them, is its size and affordability compared to other single storey designs

With four bedrooms, two living rooms and a double garage, you can tell why Eldterton’s home design the Cappara 24 is so popular — particularly among families.

Unlike a lot of other single storey designs on the market to suit this size land, the Cappara features the master bedroom at the rear of the home, opening onto the backyard, rather than at the front of the home, facing the street.

Other features of the home include a large walk in pantry to kitchen, fireplace in the lounge room, custom designed entry door and raked ceiling with feature skylights.

Elements of the visual style of home include geometric patterns, a generally subdued colour scheme with feature pieces in bright colours and some natural elements such as the timber floors and stone fireplace.

As designer Greg Hendy explains, “As a display home, it is important that the home design is visually appealing, but more importantly, the home has to have a functional layout and furnished in a way that people can envisage themselves living in the space”.
