Despite its compact size, this pool and spa duo keeps the whole family happy and perfectly complements their outdoor space

Created for a busy family with four young children, this modern rectangular pool and spa combination really ticks the boxes for this family’s outdoor entertaining needs. Built on a flat block in Melbourne’s Bayside area and designed by the homeowners, it’s just 6m long with a spa. Despite its compact size, it fits neatly within the family’s outdoor entertaining space, which also features a stunning hardwood deck, barbecue, fireplace and outdoor lounge area.

East Coast Swimming Pools incorporated a range of sophisticated finishing touches into the project, including drop-face grey granite coping, grey granite pavers and sleek charcoal 47mm x 47mm ceramic mosaics, which line the interior. All combine to make this project a real Bayside beauty. In addition, the inclusion of frameless glass fencing ensures the view from the house isn’t impeded and that the modern house, pool and spa all work together in unison.

East Coast Swimming Pools was established in 2001 with a strong commitment to quality, service and attentive project management. Owner and principal, Colin Sloggett, has more than 30 years’ experience in swimming pool and landscape construction. East Coast’s emphasis on quality can be seen at all stages of the design and construction process. The company uses quality, state-of-the-art materials and techniques together with reputable and reliable tradespeople.

East Coast Swimming Pools can design and construct a swimming pool, spa, landscape or exterior space, as well as look after each project from initial concept to design, construction and completion. The company’s experience, passion and skill have seen it create stunning pools, spas and landscapes on the Mornington Peninsula and in Melbourne’s Bayside and south-east suburbs.
