The owner of this elegant kitchen was extremely particular about balance and required an uncluttered simplicity in the design
A selection of high-end materials achieved a stylish finish that complemented both the home and did not distract from surrounding furnishings and artworks. Walls were removed between the kitchen and living room to achieve a more integral living area between the two spaces.
Large built-in drawers, bins, bottle baskets and under-sink drawers make this a wonderfully functional kitchen to work in. Provisions were also made for storage with a roomy pantry, complete with Häfele fold-away doors and 40mm thick lacquered shelves, providing ample room for non-perishables. To free up the kitchen benchtops the storage area can also be used as extra work space, with the stainless-steel tops offering the perfect spot for tea and coffee-making facilities.
The finishes on the doors were a satin lacquer and the benchtops and splashback were crafted out of a gorgeous marble, giving the space an air of elegance.
The Kitchen Factory has again succeeded in creating a truly breathtaking space that is certain to stand the test of time.
