The owner of this elegant kitchen was extremely particular about balance and required an uncluttered simplicity in the design

A selection of high-end materials achieved a stylish finish that complemented both the home and did not distract from surrounding furnishings and artworks. Walls were removed between the kitchen and living room to achieve a more integral living area between the two spaces.

Large built-in drawers, bins, bottle baskets and under-sink drawers make this a wonderfully functional kitchen to work in. Provisions were also made for storage with a roomy pantry, complete with Häfele fold-away doors and 40mm thick lacquered shelves, providing ample room for non-perishables. To free up the kitchen benchtops the storage area can also be used as extra work space, with the stainless-steel tops offering the perfect spot for tea and coffee-making facilities.

The finishes on the doors were a satin lacquer and the benchtops and splashback were crafted out of a gorgeous marble, giving the space an air of elegance.

The Kitchen Factory has again succeeded in creating a truly breathtaking space that is certain to stand the test of time.

Featuring quality finishes, a touch of bling and even an optical illusion, this kitchen is full of surprises.

Harvey Norman Design and Renovations designer Nick Valmas worked with the client to create this stunning showpiece kitchen, which rivals the magnificent water views for attention. Nick helped the client decide which internal walls to remove, creating an open space, and then assisted with design, colour and finishes. The client requested a walk-in pantry but was unsure how it would blend in without interrupting the kitchen flow. To accommodate the client’s needs, Nick designed false pantry doors to the right of the fridge, which lead into a huge walk-in butler’s pantry combined with a laundry.

The kitchen features parchment satin shadowline doors, with the layout really lending itself to the contrast veneer wall, which provides a spectacular contrasting feature to the kitchen. The client was brave enough to move forward with a full mirrored splashback and the crystal chandeliers created more bling to the already stunning design and colour palette. Harvey Norman Design and Renovations has fulfilled the clients’ brief, creating this bright, open-plan modern kitchen that complements the rest of the living area.
